The Lassithi Plateau, the birthplace of Zeus, has been a pioneer in the exploitation and utilization of wind energy, as Mr. Hatzakis tells us and emphasizes that he has dealt with the issue of windmills in the Lassithi Plateau since he was a student, and in fact his diploma the windmills, but also then with his research and innovative proposals he makes every effort to give “life” again to the windmills in the area.
